With the Rockwell RK3441K Compact Circular Saw Kit, you'll no longer need to drag out your traditional circular saw for small jobs. This 120-volt saw is extremely versatile and compact. It's also ideal for renovations and detail work, although it can be used to rip through 2 x 4s as well.
This small Rockwell saw has so many features that make it easier to use than a 7 1/4" traditional circular saw.
In this review, I'll highlight the best features of this power tool and offer some tips that will make shopping easier.
Saw Uses a Carbide Blade Edge
The compact 4 1/2" Rockwell circular saw uses a small, thin blade. With a smaller and thinner blade, you can expect less strain while cutting. All in all, the blade measures 4.5 inches, has 24 teeth, and a 3/8-inch arbor. When operated, the blade has a speed of 3500 RPMs.
Enables You to Cut Angles With Ease
If you want this circular saw to create craft projects or detailed renovations, you'll be glad to know that it can cut angles with ease. In fact, this saw can create angles of 0 to 90 degrees. At 90 degrees, the depth of the cut is 1 11/16" and at 45 degrees, the cut is 1 1/8". To create angled cuts, all you have to do is loosen the lock and lift to your required angle.
Allows you to cut in awkward positions and tight spaces easily
Creates Unique Cuts
Unlike a traditional circular saw that can be difficult to get into tight spaces, the Rockwell compact saw is capable of creating unique cuts. With this power saw, you can easily create cutoffs, plunge cuts, and rips. The small size of the saw allows you to cut in awkward positions and in cramped spaces with ease too.
Included with your purchase is a 10 ft. cord, which means you don't need to be glued to an outlet to use the device.
Comes with a carbide blade edge and 3,500 RPM motor
Easy Set Depth and Gauge Lever for Quick Set-Up and Adjustments
The Rockwell compact circular saw is created with details that makes it easy to set up. The design of this saw makes it simple to use for anyone including women, men with small hands, and even left-handers. Left-handers just need to make sure they've set-up their cuts properly.

People love the Rockwell compact circular saw because it's an ideal alternative to traditional 7 1/4" circular saws.
The only thing that needs to be pointed out is if you're interested in this saw only because it's created by Rockwell, then you may want to take a step back. It's important to realize this isn't the same Rockwell USA your dad and grandpa loves. Rockwell products today aren't made in the USA. Instead, the tools are manufactured in China and shipped to retailers in the United States. However, with such an overwhelming amount of positive reviews, it's obvious this Rockwell tool is still worth every penny and lives up to its Rockwell name. Having it made in the USA would also only drive its price up – so I believe this is a fair trade-off.

The Rockwell RK3441K Compact Circular Saw Kit is a great deal for anyone who doesn't want or need a bulky, traditional-sized tool. This compact and circular saw is easy to use, great for simple projects, and it won't take up much room in your tool box. I would recommend buying a dust bag and a couple of replacement blades along with your purchase so you don't have to scramble to find one when needed. With replacement blades and a bag on hand, you should be ready to handle any little project that comes your way with ease.
